KIDS PLAY WITH THEIR PEERS

PONY Baseball is organized with two-year age brackets.  No more 11 year olds playing with 8 year olds or being stuck in the same division for 3-4 years.
The age brackets are as follows:
Shetland League - ages 5 and 6
Pinto League - ages 7 and 8
Mustang League - ages 9 and 10
Bronco League - ages 11 and 12
PONY League - ages 13 and 14
Colt League - ages 15 and 16
Palomino League - ages 17 to 19

EVERYONE PLAYS
Orangecrest PONY has a minimum play rule as used in Little League. 

ALLSTAR TEAMS FROM 7 - 19 YEARS OLD
Each age bracket from 7-8 and up will have an allstar tournament.  More kids will get to have the tournament experience.

BIGGER FIELD & "REAL BASEBALL"
FOR 11 & 12 YEAR OLDS

The Bronco League (11 & 12) plays "real baseball" with leading off and stealing.  The bases are moved out to 70' and the pitcher's mound is set at 48' to help the players transition to the regulation size field when they are 13 and older.

GROUND RULES AMENDED(3-21-08)
There has been amedments to the ground rules in relation to the games that are started late due to other divisions games going over.  No game shall be called for going past the next scheduled start time.  With exception to Pinto, who will still be no new inning after 1:30 and drop dead at 1:45, Colt, Palomino, Pony, Bronco and Mustang will finish the inning if it is started before 1:45.  

It is very important that all teams, managers and coaches work together in getting off the field when another is waiting to start.  When your game is over please have your team out of the dug right away and have your team talk out of the field / dug out.  Teams coming on to the field should be working together in getting the field set up for your game.  Please be respectful and courtious to others.

66ers GAME (posted 3-6-08)
Mark your calendar its Orangecrest PONY family night at the 66ers game April 20th at 2pm.  Your Team Mom will be giving you more information on the event.  This will be a fun day for our players and families to hang out and have fun!

S CORES AND STANDINGS (posted 2-29-08)
Scores and standings have been updated and posted.  When e-mailing scores be sure to include Game
Date, Division, Team Names, Score, Winning Team and first & last name of who is reporting the score.

NO SKATEBOARDS, SCOOTERS or BIKES ALLOWED (posted 2-29-08)
Per the City of Riverside you can not ride scateboards, scooters or bikes at Orange Terrace Park.  Please respect the park rules.  

IMPORTANT REMINDER (posted 2-28-08)
The use of any form of tabacco is stricly prohibited.  This rule is stated in the PONY rule book page 23 section F; The use of tabacco, alchol or illegal drugs in any form by players or adult leaders in the dugout, on the bench or on the playing field shall not be permitted.  This is also stated in the Orangecrest PONY ground rules.

The final day to claim your raffle prize is this Saturday, March 1st, from 6:00pm to 7:30 pm, at OTCP, near field 1.
Any unclaimed prizes will have a new ticket stub selected and the new winner will be notified. Thanks for your understanding!
